Beer, beer, beer—it’s all here! Pub 365 at Tuscany Suites & Casino is a mecca for any beer lover. While in Las Vegas, if you’re looking for a place that will satisfy the novice or expert beer drinker, you’d be hard-pressed to find a better experience.
Just as the name says, Pub 365 has a beer for every day of the year, with 61 of them on draft that are constantly rotated and updated. “We bring in new beers, on average, about five to 10 per week,” says Jose Martinez, lead bartender for Pub 365. “We also have our unicorn menu.”
The unicorn menu features “seasonal, hard-to-find in this region, specialty, rare beers,” Martinez says. Names like Bicycle Day from Great Notion Brewing, Bourbon County Brand Fourteen Stout from Goose Island Beer Co., 120 Minute IPA 2022 from Dogfish Head Craft Brewing and Dead ‘N’ Dead from Rogue Ales, all make an appearance, and the list goes on and on. Pub 365 also caters to the local beer scene, with nearly 30 taps dedicated to selections from breweries like Able Baker Brewing, Bad Beat Brewing, Tenaya Creek Brewery and Beer Zombies Brewing.
With the overwhelming selection of beers, we asked Martinez for some suggestions: “The Duck Hunter IPA,” he says. It’s brewed locally by Beer Zombies and it’s a great, classic IPA for any time of the year. And he suggests trying one of Pub 365’s beer flights to get the best sampling of their selections. The flights come with four choices in either bartender’s choice, local breweries or light to dark. “I’ll try the beers with you,” he says, smiling. “I like to taste beers together.” Rest assured that all bartenders at Pub 365 are fully schooled in all things beer, many, including Martinez, certified as a cicerone.
In addition to beer, Pub 365 offers an impressive assortment of specialty cocktails, too. Two of our faves include the Tequila Reposado Old-Fashioned with Casamigos reposado, orange bitters and sugar. “It’s simple, but smoother than using bourbon or rye,” Martinez says. Another twist on a classic is the Mezcal Rita with mezcal, triple sec, Grand Marnier, lime juice, agave and a sugar rim. “The mezcal gives the cocktail a smokier flavor than tequila,” he says. The sugar rim is a tasty touch compared to the classic salt rim on a margarita.
Besides its beer, Pub365 has also garnered local fans for its food, mainly its “locally world-famous tacos.” There are three in an order with choices of carne asada, fish, shrimp or chicken tinga.
