Pollard Banknote Receives New Minnesota Lottery Contract
Pollard Banknote Limited has been awarded a Mobile Convenience App Development Services Contract from the Minnesota Lottery. The Canadian lottery provider will be allowed to develop a lottery app for its partner for both iOS and Android devices.
Pollard Banknote will develop a new mobile app for the Minnesota Lottery. The app will offer iLottery products to the population of Minnesota. It is expected that the online platform will come with convenience features, such as ticket scanning, GPS lottery retailer locator and information about the lottery. The lottery's Executive Director, Adam Prock, believes that such an app would be of great importance for them to cement their presence in the gaming scene.
Pollard Banknote is a supplier of lottery products to over 60 lotteries from all around the world. In August, the company was awarded a contract extension by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming Control Agency. The new agreement will be for four additional years, with the option of an extension of three years. Pollard also partners with Texas Lotterie. Last year Texas broke its previous records with US$8.107 billion in sales.
