Here are the top three stories today in Las Vegas:
- Las Vegas police believe foul play was involved in the death of a woman over the weekend. On Sunday, the woman's body was found inside a home on the 4000 block of Edgeford Place, just West of the Las Vegas Strip. Police are investigating the murder. (Las Vegas Sun)
- Hundreds of elementary school students are now full of confidence with their brand-new shoes. Michael Naft, a commissioner with Clark County, accompanied the "Shoes That Fit" nonprofit to deliver 650 pairs of shoes to students at Helen Jydstrup Elementary. (News3LV)
- A newly renovated Las Vegas hotel and casino, Ojos Locos Sports Cantina Y Casino and Hotel Jefe, was specifically tailored to the Latino community. The hotel and casino will make its big debut on Monday, Feb. 6. The location will be the first U.S. hotel-casino devoted to the Latino community and will be located at 3227 Civic Center Dr. in North Las Vegas. (Fox 5 Las Vegas)
