LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — The Plaza Hotel & Casino will celebrate the 4th of July with what it calls the largest fireworks show the property has ever done.

The fireworks show will launch on Thursday, July 4, at 9 p.m. from the Plaza's South Tower in downtown Las Vegas.

Hotel guests who are 21 and older will be able to watch the show from an exclusive viewing party on the rooftop pool deck.

Main Street will also be closed in front of the hotel-casino between Carson and Ogden avenues for a limited time to let people on the street watch as well.

Fireworks will be dependent on weather conditions. The Plaza says this will be the only fireworks show in downtown Las Vegas.

If you miss the Independence Day pyrotechnics, the Plaza is also hosting weekly fireworks shows all summer, through Labor Day weekend, meaning another show will be held on Friday, July 5.
