Anyone lucky enough to witness Vegas’ past patriotic pyrotechnic displays can confirm it’s the spectacle of the summer. No matter what corner of the Valley you’re in, there’s not a bad seat to be had. Here’s a list of some of this year’s best spots to watch. 

SKY-LEVEL SEATS

Palms Hotel & Casino Even on a regular day, Ghostbar, located on the 55th floor of the Palms, offers breathtaking panoramic views of the city. Heritage Park The City of Henderson is pledging allegiance with a community-centered gathering at Heritage Park. Attendees are encouraged to bring chairs, blankets and coolers to fully enjoy a night of live country music, family activities, food vendors and of course, the fireworks show. 6 p.m., free, cityofhenderson.gov.

Durango Casino & Resort It’s a year of firsts for the Southwest’s newest resort and Durango Casino is pulling out all the stops for its Fouth of July fireworks viewing show. Relax poolside at Bel-Aire Backyard and enjoy the live DJ, lawn games and freshly grilled hot dogs and burgers. Red Rock Casino Red Rock Casino is shooting off its stash of glittering explosives from the hotel rooftop and the prime view is from the Sandbar Pool. Green Valley Ranch Resort Henderson is getting its own casino-hosted fireworks show at Green Valley Ranch and tickets to view from its pool deck come with a free light-up necklace while supplies last ... so you can sparkle, too.
