PlayStar Casino is diversifying its offerings through a partnership with a social media sports marketing company.

The New Jersey-based operator announced on Thursday that it will launch a new show, Casino Stream, in partnership with SGG Media. The show, which marks PlayStar’s first foray into livestreaming media, will broadcast weekly on live streaming service Twitch.

The show will feature a trio of New Jersey-based streamers who will play a variety of casino games that are available on PlayStar’s platform, including slots. The show will be fully branded by PlayStar and will have its streamers play with a budget provided by the operator.

“PlayStar Casino is excited to partner with SGG Media in allowing New Jersey casino enthusiasts to watch and play our online slots and games,” said PlayStar CEO Jon Bowden in a statement. “We provide the excitement of live, legal, casino games to be played online by New Jersey residents while a large viewership can view the action in real-time.”

PlayStar will be leveraging SGG Media’s experience with streaming legal gambling. In October 2023, the marketing company launched its own gambling show. The program, Live Drive, aired to an audience of over 24,000 on Twitch, YouTube, and other platforms.

SGG Media has a portfolio of 2,000 content creators who have a combined social media following of more than 60 million. Live Drive emerged as the first fully legal and licensed live sports betting streaming show. Its debut on Twitch came after the platform banned all gambling sites that have not been awarded a U.S. casino or sports betting license.

“Our Casino Stream show is focused on being completely compliant with all state gambling laws,” said SGG Media CEO Troy Paul. “PlayStar is a licensed New Jersey Casino, and we will only allow verified adult gamblers located in New Jersey to play.”
