PGCB: Gambling Revenue Reached $452M Thanks to iGaming
Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board reports that the gaming revenue from all kinds of gambling reached $452,357,922 in November. That is an increase of 4.59% compared to the November 2021 results and $2 million more than the revenue of October 2022.
November's gaming revenue exceeded $420 million for the fourth straight month. It is the ninth month in 2022 that the gambling companies in Pennsylvania generated over $400 million. Online gambling revenue is growing. The slot machine revenue reached $86.6 million, which is a 36.5% increase in comparison with the November 2021 revenue. Hollywood Casino at Penn National Race Course, Grantville, made revenue of $71.2 million up 18. 5%. Valley Forge Resort Casino in King of Prussia generated $64. 6 million year-over-year.
Parx Casino generated a slot revenue of $30 million, which is a 5% decrease in comparison with November 2021. Rivers Casino Pittsburgh generated $20.9 million of revenue, a decrease of 1.1% compared to the year-over-year period. Valley Forge Resort Casino’s $297.2 million handle and $28.6 million revenue from sports betting took the first place. Hollywood Casino Morgantown”s total handle amounted to $61.8 million and the gaming operator generated revenue $2.3 million.
