Pennsylvania: Parx Casino Gets Fine for Teen Gambler’s Entry

The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board fined Parx Casino $12,500 for allowing a teenage male access to the gambling establishment in Bensalem, Bucks County.

The PGCB fined Greenwood Gaming and Entertainment Inc. $10,000 plus $2,500 in administrative costs for allowing an underaged gambler to enter the casino and gamble on slot machines. The 18-year-old was caught on surveillance footage playing slots at the Parx Casino. He was also caught setting off fireworks in the parking lot.

Teen took advantage of COVID-19 protocols and snuck into the Bensalem casino. He played six slot machines in quick succession and his longest game on a slot was 3.5 minutes. He also met his grandfather in the casino and was recorded by surveillance cameras.

GCGB placed three adults on its involuntary exclusion list. Placement on this list prohibits individuals from entering and gambling at all Pennsylvania casinos.
