The Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board will host a hearing at the Pen State Conference Center Hotel in State College on Monday, August 16th at 4 pm. SC Gaming Op Co., LLC has applied for a Category 4 casino to operate at Nitani Mall in Center County College Township. The deadline for registration of testimony statements or submissions is noon on Thursday, 12 August 2021.

Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board oversees all aspects of 14 land casinos, online casino games, retail and online sports gambling, and gambling at the Video Gaming Terminal (VGT) at qualified truck stops. The industry consists of 6 racetrack casinos and 5 stand-alone casinos. There will be up to four more Category 4 casinos in the next few years.
