Ontario casinos reopen today at 50%, with cash transactions watched by new task force
As part of the phased reopening of Ontario casinos, all are cleared to reopen at 50 percent capacity on Friday. Gateway Casinos will reopen all its facilities except for Casino Rama, which will re-open on July 29. Casino Niagara and Fallsview Casino will open for business starting July 23.
Gateway Casinos is reopening all its facilities today except for Casino Rama, which will reopen on July 29. Gaming venues in Hanover, Clinton, Sarnia, London and Woodstock confirmed their openings for Friday. Casino Niagara and Fallsview Casino will open for business starting July 23. Table games and the poker room will not be available at CasinoNiagara. The new task force consists of representatives from the AGCO, the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) and Ontario Lottery and Gaming (OLG). The taskforce was established to monitor cash transactions.
