THE BANK Holiday weekend was made all the merrier for one lucky Dublin Lotto player as they scooped €500,000 in last night's Daily Million draw.

The lucky online punter had a celebratory end to their Bank Holiday weekend after winning the top prize of €500,000 in Monday night's 9pm Daily Millions Plus draw.

The winning numbers for Monday, May 2, 9pm Daily Million Plus draw were: 07, 09, 13, 25, 37, 39 and the bonus was 11.

The winning ticket was sold online at www.lottery.ie.

Lotto bosses has confirmed that a notification to the user’s online account and a separate email has now been sent to the lucky Dublin ticket holder.

The online winner should make contact with the prize claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie and arrangements will be made for them to claim their prize.

A National Lottery spokesperson said: “It was a Bank Holiday to remember for National Lottery players in Dublin with two big wins over the weekend.

"Saturday night’s Lotto draw saw a player in the Dublin 15 area match five numbers and the bonus to win the incredible sum of €106,138 after purchasing their winning ticket in Blanchardstown Shopping Centre.

"On Monday night, it was an online player who ended their May Bank Holiday weekend in style after winning the top prize of €500,000 in last night’s 9pm Daily Million Plus draw.”

Daily Million draws take place twice a day, seven days a week at 2pm and 9pm and costs just €1 per play.

Meanwhile, the National Lottery are reminding EuroMillions players dreaming of winning tonight’s estimated €175 million jackpot that the cut-off time for ticket sales is at 7.30pm this evening.

Players are encouraged to purchase their ticket early either in-store, through the National Lottery app or online at www.lottery.ie.

Nearly 30 cent in every €1 spent on all National Lottery games goes back to Good Causes in the areas of sport, youth, health, welfare, education, arts, heritage, and the Irish Language.

In total more than €6 Billion has been raised for Good Causes since the National Lottery was established 34 years ago.

In 2021 alone, €289 million was raised for local Good Causes in communities across Ireland.
