One Irish EuroMillions player scoops life changing €1million as Dublin player wins €143,631
ONE Irish EuroMillions player has nabbed €1million in tonight's draw.
And a second player, who bought their ticket in Co Dublin, has won €143,631.
There was no winner of the EuroMillions jackpot. In Total over 66,000 players in Ireland won prizes including one winner of match 5+ Bonus prize receiving €143,631.
The winning ticket was sold in Dublin.
The lucky digits needed to score the huge jackpot worth a huge €101,607,332 were: 22, 23, 25, 38, 44 and bonus balls 11 and 12.
In the Euromillions Plus, worth an impressive €500,000, the numbers in question were: 5, 9, 19, 20 and 46.
There was no winner of that top prize.
Tonight was the last opportunity to score an eye-watering €1 million in the special raffle draw.
One player nabbed the huge win with the Raffle Code I-NDJ-62913. The player bought their ticket online.
The special draw guaranteed a winner of €1,000,000 in each Friday EuroMillions draw on August 5, 12, 19 and 26.
The Ireland Only Winning Raffle numbers saw ten players pot €5,000 each.
The winning codes were: I-NCQ-10519, I-NDF-83487, I-NDF-84258, I-NDG-49570, I-NDH-07967, I-NDH-54383, I-NDH-67205, I-NDH-88278, I-NDJ-35510 and I-NDJ-62913.
It comes after two lucky players celebrated earlier this week after collecting cheques for just over €1 million each.
The now millionaires, from Co Tipperary and Co Sligo, scooped their huge wins in special Euromillions ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ draws.
The Sligo winner became the first millionaire of the special raffle draw on August 5, after purchasing their winning ticket worth €1,005,000 million in The Regional Stores, Ballinode in Co. Sligo.
The winner, who wishes to keep their win private, spoke of their shock when they realised they’d won the live-changing prize:
They said: “I was walking around with this ticket in my pocket for a full week not realising how much it was worth!
“I couldn’t believe it when I was told it was over €1million! You know, you always dream about winning but you never think it’s actually going to be you.
"I’ve no big plans yet for the money but it’s definitely going to take the pressure off as the cost of living has gone so expensive.”
Also claiming their €1,005,000 million prize from the special EuroMillions ‘Ireland Only Raffle’ draw was a player from Co. Tipperary who purchased their winning quick pick ticket online or on the National Lottery app.
The winner, who also wishes to keep their win private, is looking forward to celebrating with family.
