October Online Poker Revenue Remains Steady in PA and NJ, Online Gambling Revenues Soar
Pennsylvania's gambling revenues hit a record-high of $425,916,762 in October. The four online poker rooms pulled in $2.8 million, a blip down from $ 2.92 million in September. BetMGM and Borgata saw slight increases, while WSOP and PokerStars’ revenue slightly declined.
October Online Poker Revenue Remains Steady in PA and NJ. PokerStars lost $1.8 million in October. WSOP lost more than $600,000 due to unmet guarantees in its Fall Online Championship Series. It's the third full month with all four poker rooms operating.
Pennsylvania's online gambling revenue for October hit $103 million across 10 casinos. Four casinos are partners with the state's poker sites. Hollywood Casino at Penn National pulled in $20 million in October, but only $303K of that came from online poker. Rivers Casino is second in the same state with $26 million, though only $108K came in poker money.
New Jersey saw a slight dip in poker revenue in October. The state took in $2.4 million, which is $100K less than in September. BetMGM/Borgata took the biggest step back, falling $88K short of its September number. Only WSOP made slight gains.
BetMGM/Borgata, WSOP.com, PokerStars and Pokerstars took in less in October than in September. Online gambling revenue for New Jersey was $127 million for October.
