The Atlantic City retail casino industry has been consistently looking to advance technology. An iconic , Ocean Resorts, is getting one more new mobile app feature.  

The latest example of that is Ocean Casino Resort with its Cardless Gaming. According to them, Ocean Casino will “now have an easier and more convenient way to play” for its players. 

In the press release, Ocean Casino Resort also calls this an “all-new, fully integrated mobile experience, available via the Ocean Casino Resort Mobile App.”

"The Ocean Casino Resort Mobile App takes our gaming experience to a new convenient level for avid gamers and fun-goers by providing a cardless option directly to the palm of their hands," said John Forelli, SVP and Chief Information Officer for Ocean Casino Resort. "By continuously adapting to evolving player preferences and utilizing advancing technology, Ocean solidifies its reputation as the premier gaming experience on the East Coast."

To get started with this experience, you’ll log into the Ocean Casino Resort Mobile app. From here, click “Account” and scroll down to “Cardless Gaming” and pick slots or table games. If you want to play table games, you’ll see a QR Code be displayed to connect to. Physical cards will be accepted, but there will soon be a Cashless option. The app is available in the Apple App and Google Play Store. 

Ocean Casino has been open for about six years, and of the nine casino operations since June 2018, it ranks third in Atlantic City casino revenue with about $1.75 billion. Only Borgata and Hard Rock have done better numbers-wise. 

Considering Ocean Casino came out of the ashes of Revels, which closed before it opened, it’s been quite a come-up for them as they close in on $2 billion.
