NSW Gov to Trial Cashless Gaming Machines
The government of New South Wales launches a cashless gaming trial in the state to fight against money laundering practices and gambling-related risks. Approximately 200 Wests Newcastle leagues club members received access to the new casheless gaming technology on Saturday, October 8.

He believes it will improve the sustainability and vibrancy of gambling sector. The trial will test different technologies and solutions. It will minimize the gambling harm by respective measures. and allow patrons to have more control over their betting. Kevin Anderson, minister for hospitality and racing, commented that the trials would provide extra convenience to customers.
Inquires against Crown and The Star were held throughout Australia. In NSW, two inquiries were made against them. Crown Resorts and Star Entertainment Group reached a settlement agreement with the NSW Independent Casino Commission in 2021.
