There is a new multi-millionaire — $7.1 million to be exact — in our midst after a ticket sold at the ShopRite of Hainesport in Burlington County matched all six numbers drawn for the Sept. 22 Pick-6 with Double Play drawing, the New Jersey Lottery announced.

The winning ticket will claim the $7.1 million annuity jackpot. The ticket was sold at the ShopRite at 1520 Route 38 East. The retailer receives a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The winning numbers for the Sept. 22, drawing were: 08, 15, 28, 31, 33 and 39. The jackpot will reset to $2 million for the next drawing that will be held on Sept. 26, the New Jersey Lottery stated.

With Pick-6, players select six numbers between 1 and 46. The drawings are held every Monday and Thursday at approximately 10:57 p.m.

In addition to the jackpot winner, the drawing produced twowinners matching five out of the six white balls drawn. Those tickets had the 3X multiplier, making their tickets worth $15,825 each. An additional 6,663 players took home $62,832 in prizes, the lottery said.

The Multiplier is randomly computer generated for each ticket at the time of purchase and is included in the base price of a wager. At the time of purchase, players can choose between annuity prizes and cash value. The Pick-6 cash value of the winning ticket was $3,765,485.
