NetEnt now live in Pennsylvania
Net Entertainment has launched its innovative titles in the newly-regulated market in New England state of Pennsylvania. The move by the Swedish developer comes after it was granted an Interactive Gaming Manufacturer Conditional License by Pennsylvania Gaming Control Board in March this year.
NetEnt Americas LLC is pleased that the market in Pennsylvania has now opened. Pennsylvania is the fifth most populated state in the U.S. with over 12.8 million inhabitants.
Governor Tom Wolf signed a gambling expansion bill on October 30, 2017. It allows for intrastate online casino and poker products, online lottery sales, daily fantasy sports, and new satellite casinos and video gaming terminals at select truck stops.
2004 was a milestone year for state casinos being licensed for the first time. 2010 was the year a new law allowing class 3 gaming (table games) was passed. NetEnt is now based in Pennsylvania.
NetEnt is the first online casino supplier to enter the Pennsylvania market. It has already signed an agreement with Parx Online and applied for a license with the PGCB to supply local operators with its online casinos games. Now it has signed a deal with Penn National Online Entertainment LLC, a subsidiary of Penn Interactive Ventures.
