Microgaming Sells Quickfire Platform to Games Global Ltd
Microgaming is selling Quickfire distribution business and portfolio. The change of ownership will include the host of games studios across multiple jurisdictions. Games Global Limited will manage 25 studios and over 3,000 games. It will have 1,100 staff members across Europe, North and South America, Oceania, and south Africa.
Games Global is a new iGaming studio established early in 2021. Its CEO is Walter Bugno, who comes from IGT and Lottomatica and Tim Mickley. Bug no is also a CFO at the company and previously of SafeCharge and Playtech.
Games Global will create a new large-scale independent supply chain.
Microgaming has sold Quickfire Platform to Games Global Ltd. The company will continue to offer turnkey solutions to key customers.
Games Global Ltd. will acquire the game IP and distribution business previously known as Quickfire. Microgaming will continue to support its traditional core business and increase its reach with the addition of new business.
