MGM Deal Allows For Online Live Dealer Games From Vegas

Playing live games via online platforms has been growing in popularity in legalized states and countries over the last few years. A new deal between MGM Resorts and Playtech will now deliver casino games right from the Las Vegas Strip for international iGaming operators.
Live dealer games give players the same feel of playing in a live casino right on their computers or mobile phones. The new offerings will be branded as “MGM Live” and streamed directly from the MGM Grand and Bellagio gaming floors. The games and other casino content will be available for licensing in regulated markets outside of the U.S.

Players in several legalized states can currently take part in live dealer gaming with the action usually taking place in a specialized studio. MGM is now hoping to add a bit of Las Vegas glitz to online gaming operators around the world with the action taking place right where Sin City visitors might be hitting the blackjack or craps tables.
The casino offerings will include single and double-zero roulette and baccarat games, broadcast live from both casinos. Even more is planned in the coming months.
“As the partnership evolves, the plan is to broaden the portfolio with exclusive access to a variety of Playtech games, branded TV game shows, celebrity-hosted trivia shows, and the one-of-a-kind entertainment experiences for which Las Vegas and MGM Resorts are known,” the companies noted in a news release.
The news comes as online gaming, including poker, has seen more gains in the U.S. WSOP.com recently launched an expanded shared liquidity platform that includes Nevada, Michigan, and New Jersey. BetMGM has also hinted that it may be launching in Nevada soon.
