Malaysia Apprehends Five Gambling Syndicate Members in Raid
Malaysia arrested five Indonesian men linked to an illegal gambling organization. They were operating online gambling websites around the clock for the past nine months. The syndicate was targeting local customers. The evidence collected during the raid will help investigators. It took a while to put together a case before they conducted the operation.
Indonesian nationals were working for three illegal gambling websites. They were paid $475 monthly. The police seized a tablet, three laptops, 15 mobile phones, four wireless modems and house keys. Southeast Asia has known its fair share of people being exploited at illegal betting operations.
