Macomb County woman wins $925K on Super Lucky 7s jackpot
A Macomb County woman said she was “mind blown” when what she thought was a non-winning ticket ended up being a $925,434 winning Super Lucky 7s Fast Cash ticket.
The 30-year-old player, who chose to remain anonymous, bought her winning ticket on Nov. 16 at Romeo Van Dyke Liquor located at 70951 Van Dyke Ave. in Bruce Township.
“Every few weeks, me and my husband will go to the store and buy a bunch of tickets and come home and scratch them off,” said the player. “While we were at the store, I saw the fast cash jackpot getting close to $1 million, so I bought a few Fast Cash tickets.”
When she got home, the player thought at first the ticket was a loser, but scanned it on the Michigan Lottery app just to make sure.
“When the amount of $925,434 came up, I thought something was wrong with the scanner,” she said. “When I saw that I really did win, I was mind blown!”
The player recently claimed her prize at Lottery headquarters and said she plans to pay off her car with part of her winnings and save the rest for retirement.
Fast Cash games offer a progressive jackpot that can be won instantly. Every Fast Cash ticket gives the player a chance to win all or part of the jackpot. All of the Fast Cash games feed into one jackpot that grows with each ticket purchased.
