Lucky ticket holder claims £46MILLION National Lottery jackpot
A British ticket holder has come forward to claim part of the massive £138,628,153 jackpot win from Friday night, along with two other winners from France and Switzerland
A British Lottery player has come forward to claim a massive £46million EuroMillions prize won on Friday, according to Camelot.
The ticket holder was one of three to pick the winning numbers in the draw, along with people in France and Switzerland.
The trio shared some of the £138,628,153 total jackpot prize from the numbers 03, 08, 18, 34, 49 and lucky stars 03 and 07.
It is unknown if the UK winner was an individual or part of a syndicate.
Andy Carter, senior winners’ advisor at The National Lottery, said: “This is absolutely incredible news and we’re delighted we’ve received a claim.
"Our focus is now on supporting the ticket-holder through the process and helping them start to enjoy their truly life-changing win.”
The win, if verified, would be the first by a UK EuroMillions player in 2023 so far.
Six winners won £820M in prize money in 2022.
Mr Carter said on Friday: "Amazing! There has been an amazing win for a UK EuroMillions player tonight, with one winner bagging themselves a share of the life-changing £138M EuroMillions jackpot in tonight’s draw.
"Players are urged to check their tickets and to give us a call if they think they are one of tonight’s lucky winners.
“Thanks to National Lottery players, £30M is generated every week for Good Causes across the country.
"This money supports projects across the nation, with a total of more than 670,000 grants – to projects both big and small – having been made across the UK to date.”
For just £2.50, anybody is in with the chance of scooping the top prize leaving you set for life.
The millions on offer could mean quitting your job, travelling the world, buying your dream home and more.
While EuroMillions UK Millionaire Maker guarantees a million pound jackpot prize in every draw, incredibly on April 21 there were 20 millionaires made.
And only one of those 20 prizes has yet to be claimed with the ticket having been bought in retail.
The Set For Life draw on April 20 saw one lucky ticket-holder scoop the top prize of £10,000 a year for 30 years, and this winner is also yet to come forward - this winning ticket was purchased online.
