Lincoln, RI Casino Breaks Ground on $100mn Expansion

Bally's Corp. broke ground on a $100 million expansion of its Twin River Casino in Lincoln, Rhode Island. The property will be called Bally’s Twin river Lincoln Casino. Its sister property in Tiverton will become Baly's Tiversion Casino as part of Bly's effort to rename all its properties across the US after it acquired the Bary's brand from Caesars last fall.
Expansion of Bally's casino in Lincoln, Rhode Island is expected to be complete by October 2022. The casino will remain fully operational throughout the construction. Massachusetts lawmakers are trying to get enough support to expand Plainridge Park Casino. They want to add up to 30 table games and 250 slot machines. It would enable the state to compete with its neighbors in the south.
