LeoVegas and Karolinska Institutet to fight problem gambling
LeoVegas Group has launched a project with Karolinska Institutet’s Department of Clinical Neuroscience in Stockholm, Sweden. The research will look into problem gambling and identify the early signs and symptoms of the issue. LeoV Vegas wants to use this program and other similar initiatives to help prevent and treat problem betting and provide substantiated evidence during regulatory discussions.
LeoVegas Group is teaming up with Karolinska Institutet to carry out research on problem gambling. Karlinski Institutset's research group leader and associate professor Philip Lindner welcomes the project. Responsible Gambling is one of the pivots for the upcoming Casino Guru Awards. The industry is facing tougher regulatory pressure and intensifying its understanding into responsible gambling as a way to reduce harm in gambling or eliminate it.
