A Kentucky family is celebrating after winning the jackpot in a Kentucky Lottery online game.According to the lottery, Ashley Smith of Mason County played the Bank Buster online jackpot last week and ended up hitting big.“I was just waiting for the kids to go to sleep and decided to play,” she said. The lottery says playing netted Smith and her family $224,349.50.“The big green screen popped up, and I couldn’t believe it,” she said in a press release.Smith's husband said she scared him when she frantically jumped out of bed.“I thought she was faking,” her husband said. “I called my mom, and she couldn’t believe it either.”According to the lottery, the couple drove to headquarters the next morning and received a check for $160,409.89 after taxes.They told the lottery that they still couldn't believe they had actually won and say the win couldn't have come at a better time."I totaled my car last week," Smith said.Her husband added, "And I hit a deer this morning. I had to go home and switch trucks to get to work."As for what their plans are with their winnings? They said it'll go mostly towards paying off bills.
