Kambi Signs Retail Sportsbook Partnership With Ontario Casinos

Great Canadian Entertainment will provide retail sportsbook solutions and betting kiosks for 10 of its casinos in Ontario. The province has not released guidelines for the opening of retail Sportsbooks. There is no timeline for their launch. The Canadian Gaming Association president hopes it will happen soon. It was hoped it could launch by September, but that goal was not reached. OLG and industry stakeholders are working on getting the necessary approvals. They are also working to establish the legal structure to get retail betting up and running in the province. PROLINE retail product is already offered at roughly 10,000 retail locations across the Ontario province and is available at about 10.000 locations.
Kambi Group is expanding its online gambling partnership with Mohegan Gaming to include a retail sports betting platform. 36 sports bets kiosks will be installed across Fallsview Casino Resort and Casino Niagara properties. The sports bar will also be converted into a sportsbook. Mogegan is waiting for approval from the OLG and the Ontario government before launching a prospective sportsbooks.
