Indiana's House Bill 1406 proposes the legalization and regulation of online gambling. Online gambling activities are taxed at 18% on adjusted gross revenues. 5% of the collected tax revenue would be allocated toward the State General Fund, and the remaining 1/6 would go to a revenue sharing account. 3% would also be donated to gambling addiction treatment services.

Indiana may start the application process as early as July 1. If the process doesn't face any obstacles, the online gaming may be officially launched in Indiana on September 1st. The proposed bill outlines the licensing fees for the operators that provide online gambling services. They are to pay an initial fee of $500,000, an annual $50,00 for license renewal and $100, 000 for sports betting skins.
