Indiana casinos continue to be short of 2022 in July

Indiana casinos are continuing to see a year-over-year drop in revenue. The state’s casinos saw $198.4 million in revenue last month, up 5% from June, but 2.4% lower than the same month in 2022.
July’s total marks the fifth consecutive year-over-year decline for Indiana’s casino revenue totals, according to analysts at PlayIndiana.com.
The July total includes $173.2 million from slots and $39.5 million from table games. In July 2022, the total rake-in was $207.2 million.
Hard Rock Casino Northern Indiana in Gary, which hosts the most slots of any Hoosier casino, continues to be the revenue leader with $34.2 million. Horseshoe Indianapolis followed with $26.8 million while Horseshoe Hammond had $22.5 million.
Rising Star Casino, located in its namesake city, had $4 million in revenue, which PlayIndiana marks as an accomplishment with it being one of the smallest casinos in the state.
