'I'm in shock,' says lottery winner who won twice in a week scooping $50,000 then $1million during campfire gamble
A LUCKY lottery player has hit the jackpot twice in one week playing the same game.
The woman netted nearly $1 million between her two prizes.
Jennifer Minton played the online Safari Quest game through the VirginiaLottery.
First, she was excited to win a $50,000 prize.
But then a week later, Minton again decided to play Safari Quest while sitting at a campfire.
That's when she hit the game's jackpot of $912,936, according to the Virginia Lottery.
At first, Minton didn't realize she won the grand prize.
Minton told lottery officials she recalled thinking: "Dang, somebody just hit. They are so lucky!"
But then she did a double take and realized she was, in fact, the winner.
“I’m in shock!” she later told lottery officials.
“I’m in disbelief!”
Safari Quest is an instant game available through the Virginia Lottery app.
The odds of winning are 1 in 3.84.

Meanwhile, another woman playing an online lottery game was also left in disbelief after winning $272,806.
Cindy Red was playing $crooge when she netted the prize.
$crooge has a progressive, growing jackpot.
The odds of winning a prize playing that game are 1 in 3.86.
Red told lottery officials she didn't have immediate plans to spend her winnings.
