MGA has become a hub for gambling brands since its launch in 2001. The number of online casinos applying for a license from the authority has decreased compared to previous years. Online casinos in other European countries are choosing to operate solely under licenses granted by their own countries in 2022.

The online gambling industry in Ontario was launched on the 4th of April. Since then, there have been fewer promotions available in the province than in other Canadian regions. The best online casinos operating under the jurisdiction of Ontario do not need to apply for international licensing.

The Netherlands has recently legalized iGaming. Since April 2022, online casinos have had their applications reviewed and the country's gaming authority has started granting licenses.
The MGA is no longer an international hub for online casinos. The reason for this may be the strict requirements imposed by the Mga. French casinos have been sanctioned by MGC in the past. High prices and strict regulations discourage remote casinos from applying for a license outside of their own country.
