How a THIRD of jackpots for scratchcards on sale in shops have already been won
A third of National Lottery scratchcards on sale have already had their top jackpot prize won. Some players may not be aware that the jackpots are no longer available. National lottery organiser Camelot has 50 scratchcard games listed online. 15 of them no long offer the maximum jack pot prize. Cash Drop has only one top prize left. For example, you could pay £5 for a scratch card game offering £100,000 a month for one year but there are only two of the four top prizes left on the website.
The National Lottery website lists all its live scratchcard games. The list shows the name of each scratch card, the price, top prize and how many jackpots are remaining. Each individual card has a different number of top prizes available. Camelot officials appealed urgently for the holder of the ticket that won the UK Millionaire Maker's top winnings to step forward.
