“It’s fitting that the biggest casino event in our company’s history coincides with our 50th birthday. Seeing firsthand the enthusiasm for the $1M Slot Tournament from our guests, I’m looking forward to us building on this with similar events,” said Jonathan Lask, Carnival’s vice president of casino and performance marketing.
The casino tournament onboard Mardi Gras was held to celebrate the cruise line’s 50th anniversary year during a seven-night Eastern Caribbean itinerary, departing Port Canaveral on November 5, 2022, and visiting Nassau,Amber Cove, and Grand Turk.

The latter joined Mardi Gras guests in the casino while also making some videos showcasing the gameplay onboard the Carnival cruise ships. BC Slots will also sail cruises and play in casinos on Carnival Breeze, Carnival Magic, and Carnival Dream in the coming months.
The $1M Slot Tournament onboard Mardi Gras is not the only tournament of its kind onboard the Carnival cruise ships, the cruise line will hold at least two more.
The first-ever $1M Slot Tournament onboard Mardi Gras proved a huge success, with many guests participating. No surprise then that Carnival scheduled two more tournaments in the coming two years.
