Greentube Expands its Reach in Michigan with Caesars Digital Deal

Software vendor Greentube entered a distribution deal with Caesar Digital, and the first launch point for the new batch of games is the Michigan market. The new slots arriving in the lobbies of Caesars Palace Online Casino and Caesars Sportsbook & Casino include Thunder Cash, Diamond Cash Mighty Buffalo, Dolphin's Pearl, and Charming Lady's Boom. These games are already available on the Caesars  app and were chosen because of their high performance in other U.S. markets.

The Vice President of Online Gaming at Caesars Digital, Ricardo Cornejo Rivas, expressed pride in offering a wide and diverse range of games and highlighted that the introduction of Greentube's content portfolio to Caesars' platforms facilitates the delivery of fresh entertainment to players in several U.S. markets.

Developer With a Reputation for First-Class Games

Greentube is a gaming studio operating under Novomatic Digital Gaming and Entertainment. Established in 1998 and integrated into the Novomatic portfolio of game studios in 2010, Greentube is responsible for over 400 games. Slots comprise the most significant chunk of its inventory, with table games and bingo augmenting the catalog. Novomatic's proprietary technology enables the developer to create unique games offering visually compelling and fun gaming experiences.

Greentube recently made a more serious push in North America after arriving in Garden State in 2021 via a collaboration with Golden Nugget Online Casino. In 2022, Greentube expanded its footprint by partnering with BetMGM.

According to Markus Antl, Greentube's Director of Global Sales and Key Account Management, collaboration with Caesar Digital has been one of the software vendor's goals since its arrival in the U.S. In the official press release announcing the launch of the new games in Michigan, Antl said that the two brands will continue to work together and improve their online presence.

Caesars Is Investing in Its iGaming Division

Caesars' nationally prominent sportsbook overshadows its iGaming operations. Yet, over the past year, Caesars Digital has started to invest more intensively in its iGaming division, with the launch of Caesars Palace Online Casino, a stand-alone casino app from the online casino which is integral to the Caesars Sportsbook & Casino.

Caesars operates two separate online casinos in the Great Lakes State, which share the games and  deals. After Caesars acquired WynnBET's Michigan iGaming license in February, it plans to establish a third casino app by the end of 2024. Despite the investments, Caesars still ranks as the fifth-best operator in Michigan, taking in $11.2 million in revenue for March.
