Full House Resorts Gets Approval for New Illinois Casino
Full House Resorts has been selected by the Illinois Gaming Board to develop and operate a new casino in Waukegan, Illinois. North Point Casino was the other company in the running. The selection process was delayed after a rejected bidder tried to stop the state gambling regulators from voting.
Full House Resorts has received approval for a temporary casino in Waukegan, Illinois. The permanent casino will be built in the middle of next year. It will have a 75,000 square-foot gaming floor, 1,500 slot machines, a sportsbook, and 60 table games.
Full House Resorts has received approval for a new Illinois casino. The company has five casinos in four states and is planning to build a second one in Indiana and a racetrack casino in New Mexico. It raised over $300m in new debt to finance the new Waukegan project.
