FanDuel Launches Standalone Casino App In New Jersey Market
FanDuel Casino is available as a standalone app in New Jersey. FanDuell is launching its live dealer offerings in Michigan. On July 22, the Michigan Gaming Control Board authorized Evolution Gaming to provide live dealers services to 10 operators.
FanDuel launched its own casino product for the first time in Pennsylvania in January 2020. The company was not able to offer one under its brand in New Jersey because its land-based partner is Meadowlands Racetrack. Flutter acquired the Stardust Casino brand and used it to rename the standalone Betfair Casino NJ app. The launch of a standalone FanDuell Casino app on the same license is the latest step in this series of moves.
FanDuel's IPO plans are proceeding, but they have been delayed by two major issues. The first is the resignation of the CEO Matt King on May 12. Second is a disagreement between Flutter and its media partner, Fox.
