Evolution goes live with Connecticut live casino studio following a 7-day soft launch

7-day soft launch, Evolution announced Monday it has officially gone live in Connecticut with its new live casino studio, the fourth by the company serving the growing regulated US iGaming market.

The new Connecticut studio provides a B2B live casino solution for any operator looking to offer this vertical to online players in the jurisdiction. Evolution has been in the market with its slots portfolio since October 2021, and the live casino launch is the next step in its progression in the state.

Existing Evolution customersFanDuel and DraftKings went live on day one of the studio launch, initially offering live dealer Roulette and Blackjack.

As stated by Evolution, it is expected that many more games from the provider's extensive portfolio of live casino games and live game shows will be made availablefor operators serving Connecticut later this year, including games such as Baccarat and the company’s Lightning Roulette.

Jeff Millar, Commercial Director North America at Evolution, said: “Evolution is proud and excited to further expand its North American footprint and to once again help operators be first into a new online market. We are confident that online players in Connecticut, just like players in New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Michigan and West Virginia before them, will enjoy a truly world-class gaming experience."

“We look forward to many exciting years working in partnership with our operators to bring players the most innovative online gaming and entertainment solutions and even greater choice," Millar added. "Our studio offers plenty of headroom for this exciting market."

"There’s room to expand to meet licensees’ needs, and also room to operate dedicated, exclusively branded tables and environments, which are very popular with both our operators," he concluded.

The company began operations witha seven-day soft launch last week, authorized by the Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection, which monitored the operations and ensured Evolution’s games met the state’s regulations for online gaming. Connecticut laws require Evolution to operate in an in-state facility in order to offer live dealer games on the state’s gaming platforms.

Gov.Ned Lamontpraised the company's launch in the state and said: “With the addition of Evolution, we are continuing to provide a modern, technologically advanced gaming experience that provides an elevated user experience for eligible residents and is competitive with our neighboring states."

According to Lamont, Connecticut has long proven to be a leader when it comes to the gaming economy "going back decades," and this expansion is set to allow those who want to participate in online gaming "to continue doing so responsibly."
