Evolution has boosted its presence in Delaware’s regulated gaming market by adding its live casino offerings to its partnership with Rush Street Interactive’s BetRivers brand.

The B2B gaming provider’s online slots were already live in the state on the BetRivers brand and now, Evolution’s live games will feature alongside them in Delaware Lottery’s three online casinos — Delaware Park Casino, Bally’s Dover Casino Resort and Harrington Raceway & Casino.

The Delaware Park and Harrington sites are accessible through the BetRivers multi-state platform, while Bally’s Dover Casino Resort has its own standalone app.

BetRivers had launched leading slot titles from Evolution Group’s studios including NetEnt, Red Tiger and Big Time Gamingbrands in Delaware, its sixth state of operation,. back in March.

Now, it has added a variety of live dealer games including Live Roulette, Blackjack, Infinite Blackjack, Baccarat, Craps and poker variants such as Three Card Poker and Ultimate Texas Hold’em.

Jacob Claesson, Evolution CEO for North America, called it “another momentous launch” for the company.

“There has been huge anticipation around the arrival of our live online games in Delaware, particularly since our March 2024 online slots launch, as our unique and innovative live games are so well known and have proved so enormously popular in other U.S. markets,” he added.

“Delaware is our sixth U.S. state and this live games launch further reinforces our standing as the market leader in online gaming in the U.S.. We are confident that Delaware’s online players at BetRivers will absolutely love the quality and extended choice. Our live games add a new dimension of excitement to the player experience, as they bet in real-time, with real dealers, and alongside fellow online players.”

“BetRivers in Delaware is thrilled to offer players the chance to virtually play on Evolution’s world-renowned live tables,” added Richard Schwartz, Rush Street Interactive CEO. “We are confident that the live dealer online casino will be very popular as the live dealer games offer the same level of excitement as playing in a land-based casino.”

Meanwhile, while another major player beefs up Delaware’s live casino market, the state is pondering creating an open regulated sports betting market.

House Bill 365, sponsored by Rep. Franklin Cooke and William Bush, proposes an amendment to Delaware’s active gaming law, which currently allows one exclusive operator. It suggests forging partnerships between sports betting operators and video lottery agents, which are authorized to secure deals with up to two online sportsbooks.

If the legislation continues to move forward, BetRivers could soon have competition in the state. The RSI brand took over the exclusive operating license from 888 last year.
