Dutch Police Arrest 12 in Illegal Gambling Sting Operation

Dutch police have arrested 12 people in four raids in Soesterberg, Zeist, Vinkeveen and Rotterdam. The raids were related to illegal gambling, drug trafficking, and money laundering. Investigators recovered cash, drugs, firearms and administration during the operations.

Dutch police arrested 12 people in an illegal gambling sting operation. Two of the suspects are from Zeist, aged 29 and 57. The mayor of Soest in the Utrecht province, Rob Metz, supports the operation and believes society must work together to fight illegal betting.
The two leaders of the operation were arrested. They will be charged with drug trafficking, money laundering and hosting illegal gambling meetings. Police also found a poker table and other gaming accessories in the dealership.
