LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A Las Vegas city hearing on a proposed casino-resort in the Historic Westside neighborhood has been delayed again.
The agenda for Tuesday's Planning Commission meeting shows that the agenda item for land use entitlement requests was tabled.
, the Westside Hotel project has been proposed for the corner of Jackson Avenue and F Street, where the former New Town Tavern once stood.
The development has faced pushback from city planning staff members, who have recommended denying most of the variance applications.
Some residents have also been skeptical, saying the resort would be out of character for the neighborhood.
A fire also broke out at the site of the project last month.
