The Canadian Centre on Substance and Addiction has released new guidelines to raise awareness for the negative impacts of gambling. A gambler should not bet more than one percent of his household income for a month and shouldn't bet for more that four days in a single month.

New guidelines were developed at Hotel Dieu Grace Healthcare in Windsor-Essex. They advise people with problem gambling not to dive deep into it. Dr. Matthew Young believes that the new recommendations are a way of limiting people’s participation. He believes the main reason why people have problems gambling is because they spend a lot of time away from their families and they lose a great deal of money.

Caesars Windsor Casino & Hotel will reopen on July 16, 2021. Unifor Local 444 President Dave Cassidy reports that 300 of the union's 2,200 workers have returned to work. According to the province's regulations, the casino can operate at 50% of its maximum capacity.

The bonus for senior staff members over 60 years old has been improved. They can retire earlier and get a different bonus depending on their years of experience.
