A Carson City casino executive has been named to the leadership team overseeing a project development in Sparks, according to a news release.Olympic Gaming has named DeCourcy Graham, chief operating officer, Robin Nedza, chief financial officer, and Court Cardinal, regional president, to oversee the development and operations of Legends Bay Casino in Sparks.Cardinal, president and general manager at Casino Fandango in Carson City, has been named regional president leading Casino Fandango and Legends Bay Casino. Cardinal will oversee all property operations and day-to-day management.A Reno native, Cardinal began his career in the gaming industry after graduating from the University of Nevada, Reno, according to the release. In his 30-year career, he has opened two casinos from the ground up as well as contributed to the growth of casino remodels and expansions and has served on the board of Independent Gaming Operators Coalition.Graham, chief operating officer, will be responsible for managing and developing Legends Bay Casino, as well as all of Olympia Gaming’s existing and future projects. Graham has worked for Olympia Companies for 17 years as its chief marketing & development officer.Prior to joining Olympia Companies, Graham served in various executive roles in the hospitality industry including MGM Resorts and Las Vegas Sands. Graham was instrumental in the acquisition of the Legends Bay Casino site in 2007 and has spearheaded the master planning and development of both the casino and two adjacent hotel projects.Nedza, chief financial officer, will be focused on implementing best financial practices at Legends Bay Casino and Casino Fandango. Nedza has spent the last 20 years with Olympia Companies.

Additionally, Nedza served as an assurance manager with Arthur Anderson, LLP, working with clients in gaming and hospitality, real estate and development, technology, and utility industries. As a member of the American Institute of CPAs and Financial Executives International, Nedza continues to stay connected and keep up with evolving trends in the industry.
