This is great news; considering Santana’s health scare caused by an onstage collapse during this summer’s Miraculous Supernatural tour alongside Earth, Wind & Fire, it’s great to hear that he’s able to resume what’s been a very successful Las Vegas residency.
Thankfully, an update a bit after the initial news made its rounds evening seems to indicate that Santana was on the mend:
to one and all
thank you for your precious prayers
Cindy and I we are good just taking it easy
forgot to eat and drink water
so i dehydrated and passed out
blessings and miracles to you all
Cindy Blackman Santana went further with her update, thanking fans around the world for their well-wishes:
Hi Everyone! Carlos & I thank you so much for your prayers, love, care & concern for him! Please know that he’s resting and doing very well! He was diagnosed with heat exhaustion & dehydration… it was 100 degrees on stage and 114 under the lights so that coupled with not enough water is what caused the issue. He’ll be as good as new soon! Thank you again and we love you! Cindy & Carlos.
