For casinos and entertainment businesses, crowd capacity is limited and other measures to ensure the safety of patrons and employees are taken.
Graton Resort and Casino in Rohnert Park, California, was planning to host a big New Year's Eve party with around 4,000 guests. The venue is operated by the Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria. Health officials are concerned about the spread of COVID-19 virus. Graton cancelled the event and will close on December 31, 2020 at 5 pm and reopen on January 1, 2021. It is not required to follow the indoor entertainment ban issued by Governor Gavin Newsom. There were almost 100 COVIDs in Sonoma County.
