The Mississippi Gulf Coast now has three new millionaires in as many months after a lucky person won more than $1.2 million while playing at Beau Rivage Resort & Casino in Biloxi, the MGM property confirmed Saturday.
The player was gambling on a $1 Dragon Link slot machine when a $1.21 million jackpot was hit Saturday, said Mary Cracchiolo Spain, public relations and communications director for the Beau Rivage.
This makes the third million-dollar-plus winner in the Mississippi Coast this year:
- In March, a player won while playing the Wheel of Fortune game.
- Someone who purchased a Mega Millions lottery ticket from Scarlet Pearl Casino in D'Iberville won $1 million in the April 30 drawing and was one number away from the $257 million jackpot.
The winner of the latest Beau Rivage jackpot declined to be identified, Spain said.
