Banned Player Tries to Con Bettendorf Casino with a Fake Foreign Bill
A player was banned from the Isle Casino Hotel in Bettendorf, Iowa, after he tried to exchange a fake foreign currency bill for US dollars.
Mark Hampton, 37, has a criminal record of more than 30 cases against him. He was banned from entering the Isle Casino Hotel Bettendorf in July 2021. On September 2, Hampton managed to get into the casino and presented the cashier with a fake $100 bill.
Hampton is banned from entering the Isle Casino Hotel Bettendorf. He tried to trick the police into thinking he was trying to gamble at the casino. The police and Bettorff employees found his story very suspicious.
Mark Hampton is accused of trying to enter Isle Casino Hotel Bettendorf with a fake foreign bill. He was detained at the Scott County Jail for a short time but later released. The hearing of his case is scheduled for September 23. Hampton may face up to 5 years imprisonment and a maximum fine of $10,000.
