A pub in Australia was fined last week after an investigation. It was discovered the venue offered incentives for visitors that gambled.
A former general manager at the Rose and Crown Hotel in Parramatta, Greater Western Sydney, Australia, was fired in 2018. Samantha Glynn manipulated the payout systems for a poker machine and allegedly misplaced AU$400,000 ($290,00) by issuing fake credit tickets. She tipped off the regulator about the malpractice.

Paul Camkin, a manager of the Marlow Hotel Group, received a reprimand. Jason Marlow, director of MHG, was fined AU $10,500 ($7,300) and Damian Kelly, an associate of RC, got AU AU $30,00 ($22,200)
