Atlantic City Casino Industry Rebound In 2021 Now Official From Profits

Atlantic City casinos made $766.8 million in profits in 2021. The industry made profits of $613.1 million last year. The net revenue for the industry is $3.2 billion in 2019, $1.9 billion in 2020 and $ 3 billion by 2021, according to state figures.
Borgata is the leader in 2021 with $174.1 million in profits. Tropicana was second with last year's $118.7 million, Hard Rock third with third place at $106.8 million. Ocean was the 2020 profits leader with profits of $91.2 million and Caesars was fourth with profit of $62. 1 million; Golden Nugget was fifth with a profit $35.6 million while Bally's had a net loss of$13. 2 million this year.
Hard Rock had the highest occupancy rate with 83% in 2021. Ocean had 89% occupancy and charged an industry-high average of $239.40 per room night. Resorts was the best bet with room charges averaging $116.31.
