Argentina: Online Gambling Legalization Still in the Making in Córdoba

There are 23 provincial jurisdictions in Argentina and each one is allowed to legalize, regulate or restrict online gambling activities. Nine provinces have legalized and launched online betting activities, while more than a dozen jurisdictions are still in the process of legalizing. The autonomous region of Buenos Aires legalized online gaming last year, but it hasn't launched yet. Córdoba introduced a bill that proposes the legalization of online casinos in that province.
Argentina's online gambling market is still in the making. Legalization of the activity will bring fresh tax revenue for the province and better protection for consumers. Operators would have to introduce methods for player protection and responsible gambling.
