Winning $3 Million Mega Millions Ticket Sold In Waukesha County
One lucky Wisconsin resident is $3 million richer after purchasing a Mega Millions lottery ticket in New Berlin.
According to a news release from the official Wisconsin Lottery, the Mega Millions Megaplier ticket was sold at the Quick Pick BP Food/Nalia Inc. in New Berlin near National Avenue and Sunny Slope Road. The retailer will receive $60,000 as part of the Retailer Performance Program Winning Ticket Incentive for selling the Mega Millions ticket.
The winning numbers drawn on Tuesday, August 31, are 8, 14, 31, 58, and 68. The ticket did not have the Mega Ball number, but it did triple the winning amount with the Megaplier.
So far, this is Wisconsin's largest lottery prize this year. It is also the fourth winning ticket of $1 million or more that has been sold or claimed in August.
If interested in participating in other Wisconsin Lotteries, the next Wisconsin Powerball drawing is estimated to have a jackpot of $345 million.
The next Mega Millions drawing is estimated to have a jackpot of $323 million, and the next Megabucks drawing has an estimated jackpot of $3.7 million.
