Widus starts recruiting for US$1 billion Clark casino revamp
Widus Philippines Inc has announced plans to host a job fair on 18 August ahead of the opening of its US$1 billion Hann Casino Resort, previously known as Widus Hotel and Casino, in the Clark Freeport Zone.
The fair will see Widus on the lookout for positions in gaming, slot operations, casino marketing, cage operations, IT and Security and Surveillance, according to Widus Human Resources Director, Ana Christi Galura.
“As Widus turns 15 this month, we look forward to having more talented, passionate and dedicated individuals from Pampanga and the region to join our growing team,” Galura said.
“It is through our committed partners and associates that we successfully achieve our vision of becoming the ultimate one-stop leisure destination.”
A total of 1,000 new jobs are expected to be created at the property by 2022.
Due for completion by the end of this year, phase one of the revamped Hann Casino Resort will cover 130,000 square meters alongside the Clark Marriott Hotel. It is set to incorporate a “world-class gaming space” plus 380 hotel rooms across 19 storeys, specialty dining options, retail outlets, a swimming pool, an executive lounge plus event venues such as a ballroom and function rooms.
Widus said the property will also “boast of modern architecture aesthetically complemented by nature and lush green landscapes with an elegant facade that will showcase lines and contours flaunting structural impressions of the Banaue rice terraces.”
Bowing to its core customer base, the property will incorporate traditional and modern elements of Korean architecture and culture.
